As we see AI driven bakery, with cute aesthetically made customized pictures as per what you describe, and creating a 3D printed desserts, bringing it to reality. The smart baking tech, and automated baking systems has made work efficient, clean and opened gates for more innovation with less failures. Tech is the new comfort, however the peace in bite of handmade traditional recipe cookies can never be replaced. The aroma from bakeries which gets us flying following through the air to the bakery cannot be created with tech. Bread Scientist (Yes, That’s a Thing) – Studying fermentation and gluten structures like a true baking nerd. Cake Artist – Designing cakes so stunning, no one wants to cut them. Turned out great for me, the appreciation you get for turning image to reality is worth all the hours spent with hands shaking while detailing and eyes twitching due to not blinking. Bakery Owner – Managing everything from recipes to marketing to making sure the coffee machine works. Baker queen can own an empire of her own. Food Stylist – Making sure that croissant in the photo has the perfect flaky layers. Yes, you read that right. Our food also needs stylists. Recipe Developer – Experimenting with ingredients until something magical happens. The failures can be enough to feed yourself and staff, no wastage at all. Bakery Influencer – Reviewing and showcasing the best baked goods while making everyone hungry. You just have to own a phone with good camera and Voila! You can also market using digital presence, build your own brand and others as well. Raw Material Supplier – Providing essentials and raw material for baking. Imagine an aesthetic supermarket with bakery items, a retail or a wholesale shop, help bakers grow being the back hand. The industry has space for everyone, whether you want to work behind the scenes or become the next viral baking sensation. Thise days are long gone when healthy baking was just about sugar free cookies. My experience with Upgrad’s Digital marketing course
Was Looking for Career change when I found this course. After spending 2 years in the customer service industry, I realised I needed a change. Something more creative and room for growth. That’s when I started searching for trending and useful growth related course, I stumbled upon this course of Digital marketing from UpGrad in collaboration with MICA, visually great. I was supported by career coach to guided with the industry change why this would work for me and I decided to enrol in with slight nervousness surely, but with excitement too. A month into the course and it has been a rollercoaster ride, with a complete new industry and technicalities, from stepping into a whole new world of marketing strategies to figuring out WordPress like a pro (or at least trying to), this experience has been both exciting and, at times, a little overwhelming. But hey, isn’t that what learning is all about? UpGrad introduced a brand-new Learning Management System (LMS) just as I started my course, and honestly, it is helpful as told previously there were many platforms to be used for different steps and it feel this update is great, no more juggling between emails, Google Drive, and random bookmarked links—everything is neatly arranged in one place. From lecture recordings to assignments and even mentorship sessions, it’s all right there, making life so much easier. Guidance at Every Step – Buddies & Mentors Have My Back What I’ve Learned So Far Starting something new can be stressful, but UpGrad has a great support system in place. We have buddies to help with site related issues, and checking in we are on time for every submission and classes. The mentors are our lifesavers. No question is too silly for them, they patiently guide us through every doubt, which makes it a lot less intimidating. The Faculty – Learning from the Best A.R. Nayak Sir – The man radiates enthusiasm! His energy and passion for marketing are contagious, making even the most complex topics feel manageable. Arshad Sir – Straight to the point, and yet so effective. He breaks down every concept in a way that actually makes sense, helping us see the bigger picture. In just a month, I’ve already built a website from scratch using WordPress—something I never thought I’d be able to do this easily, I created a blog for my passion in bakery, feels like an accomplishment honestly. This is just the beginning, we have lined up many interesting topics to cover and it feels surreal how one term “Marketing” can have so many elements. We will be going further with learning social media marketing, SEO, content strategies and paid ads. Can’t wait to learn and use these in real life. A Few Tech Glitches, But a Solid Support System Like any online course, there have been a few bumps along the way—occasional buffering issues and minor login glitches—but nothing too frustrating. The support team is quick to respond, and the faculty is always ready to help. One month down, and I already feel like I’m building real-world skills that will help me grow in digital marketing. With SEO, social media strategy, paid advertising, and analytics lined up next, I know things are about to get even more interesting on this knowledge packed ride. Can’t wait to see where it takes me.
