Cleaning off butter from cutest aprons never gets old and more sad. Failed recipes, black tray matching colour with black burnt bread, been there-done that.

Early mornings? Of course, Burnt fingers? Duh! Dough sticking all over you, all comes with the job. But it is all worth when you are a mess but your baked goods look perfectly crafted and tempting. The joy of seeing how items turn out and use of all colours you want, the art and creativity, is the clam in the chaos.

When me and my mother started our home bakery, it was mere an order from a family who could not get cake customised from commercial bakery due to covid. Pandemic was all about creativity and delivering what people could not get at that time, but did we stop to that, will an entrepreneur do that? Of course not, trying and experimenting everyday is what makes you different, bringing in premixes for customers, healthy cake varieties and expanding to savoury as well, we are trying it all and so do you, As at age of 50 my mother feels independent and has a passion, why can’t you!

Now, if you’ll excuse me, I have a cinnamon roll waiting to be devoured.
